Jacqueline Jefferson

Jacqueline Jefferson is an independent consultant for Penn Lena, a CPA firm focused on financial, regulatory, and physical wellness to bring clients optimal success. She most recently served as Senior Director of Internal Audit at Verizon, primarily responsible for Verizon Global Services; Public Policy, Law and Security; and the Chief Human Resources organizations. Jacqueline also held many roles within Verizon from Senior Director of Treasury and as Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis resulting in top long-term savings in both operating and capital expenditures.

She has spent most of her career leading teams to operational excellence and partnering with CEOs, CFOs, Controllers, Audit Teams, and International Finance Leads on thought process, preparation, and review of strategic analysis, budgeting/ forecasting, and risk management.

Prior to her time at Verizon, Jacqueline was an auditor at PwC with a focus on entertainment, media and communications and investment firms. Jacqueline is a CPA, CGMA, and Lean Six Sigma green belt. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Rutgers University and a M.S. in Education from the University of Pennsylvania.

Jacqueline is a past president of the Northern New Jersey chapter of NABA Inc. and former secretary of the Eastern Region of NABA Inc. She is also a member and volunteer for the New Jersey State Society of CPAs and the AICPA. In her spare time, she enjoys meeting with her book club, mentoring, volunteering, and teaching yoga.
